- Monday
Classes are geared for riders who need minimal assistance. Some of the
riders have physically limitations while others are adults with mental
disabilities. All ride as independently as possible.
- Tuesday
Classes are designed for 4-H and Special Olympic competitors or intermediate
to advance intermediate riders (those riders not needing more than one side
walker/coach).
- Wednesday
Classes are designed for beginning to intermediate riders who need moderate
assistance. Educational goals are incorporated into these riding
classes.
- Thursday
Classes are designed for beginners who need moderate to maximum assistance.
- Motion Therapy
Classes are physical therapist assisted classes and are designed for very young or
multiple handicapped riders who need maximum help and physical
therapy. These classes will be offered on a semi private basis.
- Vaulting
Classes will be offered in September to riders who want challenge and are
physically able to attempt gymnastics on the back of a horse. Vaulting
develops a rider's confidence and coordination. Day and time to be
announced.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
The safety and good health of riders, volunteers and horses are the most
important concerns of the Mounted Achievers. Class will not be held during
the following conditions:

(The rides will be moved to Schone's Friendship Farm whenever possible, but
this is not a guarantee. An alternative stable management activity may be
held if riding is not possible.)
Other Reasons for Cancellation:

are no certified instructors available to be on site |

Lack
of appropriate horses (illness, lameness, etc) |
No fees will be refunded for weather related class cancellations
REFUSAL POLICY
NKT's right to refuse a person riding privileges includes, but is not limited
to, the following reasons: It is determined the rider's behavior, weight
or medical condition creates an unsafe or unhealthy situation for either the
rider, staff or team of trained helpers.
